Senior Account Executive

Microdesk is looking for a dynamic, high-performing Senior Account Executive with a proven track record of bringing on new business and hitting sales quotas. The right candidate will be a cold-calling pro and motivated to make lots of connections. You will have the opportunity to define and execute on a business strategy for growing an existing account base, while at the same time continue to develop your selling skills by leveraging a vast amount of company tools and resources to help ensure your short-term and long-term success. Responsibilities:

  • Managing existing customer relationship while upselling and cross selling new products and services.
  • Research and identify potential new customer.
  • Develops a complete understanding of pricing & recommend cost structures for increased hit rates.
  • Demonstrates technical selling ability with in-depth knowledge of our products and services.
  • Execute a high volume of outbound and inbound prospecting calls to existing and potential clients.
  • Perform thorough discovery to learn about the businesses of each prospect you speak to.
  • Makes recommendations to prospects on solutions to meet their business needs.
  • Schedule qualified meetings with prospects in coordination with your Senior Account Managers.
  • Maintain regular contact with a large database of clients and prospects.
  • Develop strong working knowledge of client business processes and common challenges, and how Microdesk products and services can address our clients’ business needs.
  • Meet and exceed sales volume and gross margin quota expectations.
  • Oversee all sales activities within defined region.
  • Collaborate with teammates and sales leadership on strategic projects as needed.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 3 or more years of sales experience (AEC industry or software technology preferred, but not required).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related industry or equivalent experience.
  • Top-tier verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent phone manner and ability to make large number of calls daily.
  • Competitive nature.
  • Must be able to work well independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of Autodesk and/or other BIM/CAD, GIS, and FM software (is preferred).

Salary Range: $75,000.00-$95,000.00 + Commision

The candidate should possess:

  • Ability to manage the formulation and implementation of sales plans.
  • Strong organizational skills, process-oriented, and strong prospecting skills.
  • Ability to effectively identify and qualify opportunities.
  • Ability to deliver engaging, effective written and oral presentations.
  • Understanding of and ability to effectively use CRM systems (MS Dynamics and Salesforce).
  • Excellent networking skills.
  • Most importantly, the ability to close deals and drive revenue and market share growth.
  • Sense of urgency.
