Savvee Consulting is seeking to hire a Security Lead to provide expert support to our Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) customer, located in Washington, DC. Candidates must be able to provide onsite support with sharp attention to detail and the ability to manage day to day operations for the contract.
This position is contingent upon award of contract.
Essential Functions
- Providing highly sensitive Security Support Services for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) OCIO, including but not limited to; front-end and back-end security intake processing
- Assisting with the front-end security intake processing by receiving security documents for processing through a centralized process and receiving and analyzing 11000.25 forms
- Utilizing the U.S. Office of Personnel Management National Background Investigation Bureau’s Electronic Questionnaires for investigation Processing (E-QIP) system to grant access for applicants to submit security forms and process applicants through the security process
- Assisting with back-end security intake processing through receiving and analyzing complete encrypted, password protected PSD Contractor Security Fitness Forms
- Accessing and monitoring the DHS Integrated Security Management System (ISMS) daily to track the status of applicant background investigations
- Developing weekly EOD status reports
- Developing and implementing security fitness quality control and monitoring systems and tools to track and manage the security fitness determination processing and security deliverables
- Assisting with developing, facilitating, and conducting trainings on security tools, techniques, processes, procedures, and best practices for end-users, customers, team members, and OCIO staff
- Understanding the organizational policies and procedures for accuracy of solutions and deliverables to the client
- Demonstrating a commitment to quality and customer support
