GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining orderly activities on the property and a safe environment for residents and visitors. Emphasis is placed on ensuring resident and guest compliance with House Rules.

POSITION OBJECTIVE:

The Security Officer works to ensure that residents and visitors enjoy a harmonious, safe and peaceful living environment and that owner assets are safeguarded.

REPORTS TO:

The Security Officer will be under the direct supervision of the Site Manager/Supervisor.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

- High School Diploma or GED-related experience preferred.

- Must possess a Guard Card issued by the State of Hawaii.

- Must pass a background check.

- Condominium/residential security background preferred.

- Superior customer service skills required.

- Must be computer literate with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

- Ability to maintain professional composure when dealing with unusual circumstances.

- Demonstrated excellent people skills/customer service friendly.

- Courteous telephone manner.

- Demonstrated knowledge of standard office productivity software.

- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret various internal and external documents and reports.

- Ability to write reports and correspondence in a clear and concise manner.

- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.

- Ability to be an effective team member.

PAY RANGE:
$16.00 - $18.00 an hour (commensurate with experience)

Shifts:
7:00 AM-3:00 PM
3:00 PM-11:00 PM
11:00 PM-7:00 AM

(Security Officers may be asked to cover various shifts.)
