Section Supervisor Job at Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare
Primary purpose of this position is to assist in the direction of the laboratory department in accordance with current applicable guidelines and standards as directed by the Director of the laboratory department. Maintains accurate and complete records in the department. All duties will be performed in accordance with established policies, procedures, and standards and will comply with all criteria mandated by the appropriate accrediting and licensing agencies.
Required:
Bachelor's degree in clinical laboratory science, medical technology or chemical, physical or biological science, and one year training and experience in the designated specialty/subspecialty area of service or Associate degree in laboratory science or medical technology (or pulmonary function) or equivalent education and training (refer to CLIA 42CFR493.1489(b)(2)(ii) for details on required courses and training) and two years laboratory training or experience, or both, in the designated specialty/subspecialty area of service.
