Job Description
Cyient Inc. has an opening for an OSP Engineering Section Manager position located in our Thousand Oaks, CA office. You should have significant OSP design experience primarily with fiber networks; experience overseeing and growing customer accounts; and supervisory experience. You will oversee network design, fielding, and drafting teams, to ensure timely and accurate delivery of OSP engineering projects. You will also be involved with overseeing the financial health of the account,; building and developing customer relationships; and assisting with the hiring, training and development of the account design team. You will report directly to the Senior Delivery Manager in Arlington, TX.
You Will:

• Provide leadership to local OSP engineering teams and other global Cyient engineering and delivery teams working on multiple projects.
• Oversee and coordinate with team members to achieve maximum success and efficiency in delivery of engineering designs, field surveys, and other OSP projects.
• Identify and deploy necessary resources to accomplish work while managing the stability of the project and customer account.
• Review, understand, and explain multiple telecom deployment technologies (FTTP, FTTN, HFC, CATV, Small Cell, etc.), telecom terminology, and the various telecom infrastructure environments (aerial, buried, underground, wireless).
• Communicate project and account status to senior management, customers, and other partners.
• Develop and strengthen relationships with our customers and partners.
• Pro-actively identify potential project risk factors, communicate these with our partners, and work with team members to address and resolve them.

You'll Need:

• Minimum 5 years of OSP Engineering required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a leadership/supervisory position.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Right-of-Way, easement or local permitting requirements.
• Experience with AutoCAD, MicroStation, or other customer proprietary design systems.
• Flexibility for travel up to 25% is required.
• Ability to successfully pass a Background Check and Drug screen, and must have authorization to work in the United States.
