Main Campus (Ocoee)
- General Maintenance: At LCA a general maintenance worker is responsible for maintenance of the school campuses and needed repairs for equipment and facilities including plumbing, basic electrical, basic carpentry, heating and cooling, and other building systems. In addition to being a Christian involved in a local Bible-believing church, candidates must have a valid driver's license, be able to follow directions, have a general knowledge of carpentry and repair, be able to safely use hand tools and power tools, and have good time management skills. Applicants must meet the following physical requirements: prolonged periods standing and walking; physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces; and able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time. Applicants must satisfactorily complete required background check process and all employment documents. This is a full time position.
South Campus (Gotha)
- Secondary Learning Center Supervisor (Teacher): At Light Christian Academy, a learning center supervisor (teacher) is responsible for the education and safety of his or her students. Tasks include, but are not limited to, providing academic instruction in small group or individual settings across a range of subjects, assisting students with setting goals and completing course work, grading tests, maintaining accurate records of student attendance and grades, and communicating with parents. In addition to being a Christian involved in a local Bible-believing church, a candidate for the position must have excellent communication and organizational skills, be detail-oriented, be able to work well with a team, be creative, and have a ministry mindset. A bachelor’s or associate’s degree from an accredited university is preferred, as is previous experience with Accelerated Christian Education and/or Abeka curriculum. Applicants must satisfactorily complete required background check process and all employment documents. This is a full-time position.
