Role Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Scrub Tech to join our team. As a Scrub Tech, you will be responsible for preparing the operating room for surgery, ensuring the surgical team has the necessary instruments and supplies, and maintaining a sterile environment.

Scrub Tech Responsibilities

Preparing the operating room for surgery by sterilizing equipment and ensuring necessary instruments and supplies are available Anticipating the needs of the surgical team and providing assistance as needed Assisting the surgical team in putting on sterile gowns and gloves Maintaining a sterile field during surgery by monitoring the environment and alerting the team of any breaches Counting sponges, needles, and instruments before and after surgery Assisting with wound closure by providing the surgeon with necessary instruments and supplies Cleaning and sterilizing equipment and instruments after surgery Maintaining accurate and complete medical records and ensuring patient confidentiality Communicating effectively with the surgical team and other healthcare professionals

Scrub Tech Requirements

Certification as a Scrub Tech required Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Scrub Tech Knowledge of surgical procedures, instrumentation, and equipment Ability to multitask and work well under pressure Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a team-oriented environment Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Document Requirements

Active CST license required AHA BLS required

Working Hours

40 hours per week Some On Call/Call back. 8 hour shifts M-F

07:00 - 07:00

Salary

Upto $2200 weekly gross
