As a Medical Laboratory Scientist, you support our life saving mission by providing skilled technical support in the laboratory as you perform routine testing of patient and donor biological specimens and reviewing test results.

We’re looking for someone who can:
- Performs high complexity testing including stem cell processing, CBC differentials, antibody identification, antigen screens, cross match, absorptions, and elution
- Performs moderate complexity testing in the lab for quality control of components, single donor platelet yields, and automated red cell technology problems
- Review and report test results, participate in investigative studies, participate in quality control, preventative maintenance, and validations.
- Prepare blood products/components including irradiation and pooling.
- Provide technical support to hospital transfusion services

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent
- Medical Laboratory Science Certification or able to obtain within 12 months of hire
- No experience required
- 1+ years’ experience preferred
- State licensure as required by regulations
OR
- Medical Lab Technician with Associates degree with experience in high complexity testing
- Medical Laboratory Science Certification or able to obtain within 12 months of hire
- 5+ years’ experience as a Medical Lab Technician
- State licensure as required by regulations
