LOCATION: Hampden-Wilbraham Regional District Based at the Thornton W. Burgess Middle SchoolJOB TYPE: Grant-funded positionHourly (approximately 8 hours a week through September 30, 2023)SALARY: $25.00-$30.00/hour (based on experience)JOB DESCRIPTION: Works with building safety teams and staff to support refinement and implementation of safety and security protocols, technologies and other measures as related to completion of the HWRSD-DOJ/SVPP grant, including: Assistance with annual building safety assessments for each campus.Assistance with updating/revision of Emergency Operations protocols, including those related to after-school activities.Updating off-site evacuation site locations, evacuation and reunification protocols, and partner agreements (sites, transportation, etc.).Coordination with school administrators, first responders and school staff/ SEAT liaisons as needed.Assisting with coordination of related training activities, drills and exercises.Attendance and co-facilitation of monthly SEAT meetings.
