Schedule: Monday – Friday

  • 8:00am-4:30pm
  • In person for first 90 days and then opportunity to work for home as productivity allows.

Shift: Full Time Days; 40 hours a week

Location: Woodland Hills Building

The role you’ll contribute:

The Scheduling Specialist will work seamlessly with patients, healthcare teams and resource providers in the Hospital setting, Physician Office and other facilities. The Scheduling Specialist is responsible for answering phones in a timely and professional manner while scheduling patients with physician offices via incoming and outbound calls. The Scheduling Specialist will be focused on customer service and creating an excellent patient experience while providing operational support in the delivery of patient care all within call center environment.


The value you’ll bring to the team:

  • Schedules patient appointments in software as trained following scheduling procedures and standards.
  • Schedules new and established patient appointments using Physician Group scheduling guidelines.
  • Schedules follow-up appointment using Physician Group scheduling guidelines for patients without a Primary Care Physician according to discharge instructions.
  • Participates in patient outreach campaigns to schedule follow-up and annual physical/wellness exam appointments.
Qualifications


The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:


  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years of position-related experience
