Scale Room Operator Job at REMINGTON SEEDS LLC
The Scale room operator has a very important role in ensuring product integrity of seed received at the plant. Other essential job functions may include but not limited to:
- Performing work activities safely and in compliance with company Quality Management System.
- Verifying hilum purity, moisture content, contaminants and mechanical damage by performing a soak test on every truck load of seed received prior to unloading.
- Thorough cleaning of equipment in order to maintain product integrity
- Safely climb stairs to probe trucks.
- Ensure product integrity by avoiding variety mixtures in receiving bins
- Maintaining a neat, clean, and organized work area
- Entering in Scale Tickets as needed.
This job is temporary and would likely last from September 1st- November 30th but we may have other job duties within our facility that may last longer into our bagging season.
