Saw and Press Operator
Primary Responsibilities:
- Operate and perform general maintenance of various machines (saws, Bridgeport, punch press, etc.)
- Cut extrusion to quantity and size on cut lists
- Perform secondary operations if applicable (usually deburring, drilling, or punching)
- Check products for accuracy, defects, or errors (gouges, stains, sharp edges, etc.) and repair or replace when applicable
- Label products (material, orders, etc.)
- clear and visible to next person handling product
- Maintain clean, organized workspace
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Organize products using FIFO
- Be proactive of changing environments and be willing to learn and help in other areas
