Responsibilities & Duties:

• Cleaning and sanitizing of production equipment and facilities
• Washing/Rinsing of reusable containers
• Disposing of chemicals according to company guidelines and safe practices

Qualifications:

The Sanitation Tech will ensure that plant is maintained and compliant with OSHA standard. The following qualities/abilities/experience will help to ensure the success of a prospective employee:

• Hard-working, dedicated and punctual individual with a strong desire to learn
• Team-work oriented
• Understanding of and compliance with safety practices such as Lock-out/Tag-out, wearing of PPE, and GHS
• Ability to use various types of cleaning equipment such as brooms, mops, floor scrubbers, buckets, scrub pads and air compressor hoses
• Ability to read procedures and safety information in English (required)
• High School Diploma or GED (required)

Physical Demands

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs safely
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to bend, stoop, and kneel
• Must be able to walk throughout the facility
• Must be able to scrub and wipe by hand miscellaneous equipment and items

Pay, Schedule and Benefits

• Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour commensurate with experience
• Overtime and weekends may be required
