Job Description:
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Supervise Sanitation department hourly employees providing direction and coaching regarding Sanitation, Production, Safety, GMP’s and Quality Assurance
Coordinate overall Sanitation department duties with Quality Assurance Manager and other Sanitation Supervisors
Maintain chemical inventory control system
Perform weekly inventories of sanitation chemicals and non-chemical supplies
Insure effective cleanliness of equipment and facilities in all production areas
Schedule workflow for plant sanitation functions on each shift
Maintain good working relationship all plant departments
Maintain repair schedules on all sanitation equipment
Facilitate and lead team meetings
Champion new initiatives that result in meeting and exceeding aggressive performance targets
Promote good employee relations to maintain a positive working environment
Establish a safe work environment, recognizing and considering all potential hazards
Always perform within environmental safety and GMP guidelines
Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required

Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Food related or Technical Field preferred

Minimum of two (2) years experience in a supervisory capacity in an industrial setting is required, preferably in Food Plant Sanitation or Food Manufacturing.

Experience with regulatory FDA/USDA (Federal and State) requirements of Food Plant Sanitation.
