Position Description:

Upon completion of a comprehensive 4 (four) month training program in which Sales Trainees will learn NIBCO products, customers, manufacturing, and distribution methods, you will join the Business Development Group and assigned to support a specific Area Sales Manager(s) and location. In this role, you will support the sales of NIBCO flow control products and systems by interacting with established customers and developing new prospects. You will serve in this in-house sales support role for a minimum of 12 (twelve) months. Upon successful completion of this 16-month training program, you will have the option to apply for an outside sales role.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Participate in structured training program.
• Visit NIBCO manufacturing locations and give presentations on what was learned during these visits.
• Spend time job shadowing associates experienced in customer-facing roles including sales.
• Give final sales presentations and complete a final test drawing upon the lessons, knowledge, and skilled learned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree required. Business or Marketing major preferred. Candidates must be a good communicator, sociable. have an outgoing personality, and be comfortable with extensive travel. Involvement in extra-curricular activities is strongly preferred.
