Our growing commercial drapery business is seeking a self-motivated & driven sales representative who can create new accounts as well as maintain current accounts. The drapery industry is very specialized; therefore, the right applicant will be able to learn quickly and retain product & industry knowledge. This will take time and commitment to learn everything required to be successful. We will provide hands-on training to help with the learning process. Knowledge of textiles, designers, & fabrication would be helpful as a salesperson in this industry.

We specialize in commercial window coverings which includes new construction. Thus, experience with reading blueprints/plans would be valuable. This job requires travel so applicants must be willing to travel outside of Utah to facilitate sales, take measurements for window coverings and help with installations. Professionalism on the phone and in person with our clients is essential. Due to the nature of our business with fabrics, we require a smoke/vape & drug free environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain customer relationships
• Provide & follow up on quotes for customers
• Provide excellent customer service for our customers
• Use a CRM program for sales and quotes
• Cold Calls to bring in new business
• Meet sales quotas
• Travel for measurements & installations
• Backup help as needed in the workroom/installation/shipping sides of the business

Qualifications

Skills:

• Good negotiation and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in programs including Word, Excel, Sales CRM
• Strong oral and written communication
• Physically able to use tools for Installation
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs or more
• Must be able to travel
• Smoke/Vape and Drug Free

Additional Information

Base salary plus commissions DOE

Access to company vehicles after 90 days.
