The Global Account Owner (GAO) is responsible for global account coordination and serves as the key interface/coordinator for internal and external stakeholders. The GAO leads the strategic account review preparation and presentation to senior management. The GAO leads global negotiations on strategic NBOs and delivers the global pricing goal set. Additionally, this position has Sales Manager responsibilities in North America, for selling any and all available company automotive
Minimum 5-7 years of managerial experience and proven ability to deliver impactful results on large accounts. Prior Ford experience is
preferred.
The GAO is responsible for delivering their regional NBO (New Business Opportunity) wins and will have an advisory & coordinating role in
delivering
business wins globally.
The GAO will deliver the global pricing goal set for the specific Global Account.
The GAO will develop a Customer Strategy with the regional account team members and business stakeholders.
The GAO is responsible for setting the cadence and leading regular Global Account team exchanges discussing relevant business topics. The
intention is to foster information exchange toward meeting the company's objectives.
The GAO will continually assess the customer's decision-making unit and lead the coordination of strategic meetings and regular interfaces.
The GAO will act as the primary account manager on large NBOs and price negotiations.
