The Uftring Auto Group consists of eleven automotive franchises at six car dealerships in Peoria, East Peoria, Washington and North Pekin, Illinois. Responsibilities
- Hire, train, and develop a team of automotive salespeople
- Coach salespeople on standard methodologies for closing deals and provide mentorship to improve sales performance
- Set sales goals, track progress, and lead team to achieve and exceed those quotas
- Desking car deals, showroom control and double closings
- Working with management on advertising campaigns
- Follow-up with sales consultants, oversee their follow-up program and teach them the importance of it
- Assist with the ordering of inventory and dealer trades
- Assist with F&I to maximize dollars per car
- Work with the sales team on lot display, reconditioning and making sure that the cars are ready to sell
- Forecast goals and objectives for the department
- Conduct sales and training meetings
Qualifications
- Three (3) years minimum sales experience, with a proven track record
- Previous experience in F&I
- Leadership skills with a real passion for training fellow employees
- Enthusiasm with high energy throughout the sales workday
- Goal-oriented, friendly personality, especially when negotiating pricing
- Attention to detail and problem solving capabilities
- Quality customer service, communication, computer and basic math skills
- Professional personal appearance
- Valid Illinois driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Hours
- Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. until close (either 6:00 or 7:00 p.m.)
- Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
- Day off during the week will be either Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday.
