Sales Leader – Southeast Region (TN, GA)
Reports To: Regional General Manager
Job Summary:
Responsible for leading a team of account managers (AMs) and Account Development Associates (ADA’s) to achieve their target for HVAC parts, supplies, and equipment sales. In addition, responsible for growing margin, growing market share, and improving customer satisfaction across the Southeast Market. This position can be remote within a Region. Open to candidates in Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership for the marketing and sales process via the development and implementation of coordinated local marketing and sales plans, consumer programs, training, and business development activity.
- Champion the Intentional Sales Call process with AMs. Provide support for AM to create and execute Dealer Development Plans.
- Sales Leader will effectively utilize and adhere to the SMX Sales Cadence structure to keep the Sales team focused on all job role development and sales goals.
- Sales Leader will utilize the Sales Force Automation (SFA) Tools to drive operational consistency within the sales organization.
- Sales Leader will utilize complete knowledge of SPX tools within SFA where applicable to drive focused growth and alignment to sales goals across the sales team.
- Sales Leader will focus on process improvement, alignment, and new process approaches with the entire organization.
- Sales Leader will effectively provide clear direction and processes for the ADA workforce within their region.
- Sales Leader will effectively utilize employee development tools, as well as mentor and coach Account Managers and Account Development Assoc. to ensure continued individual development.
- Establish, monitor, and execute implementation plans for key objectives through AM/ADA coaching. Key objectives/metrics include Mix, Organic Growth, New Dealer Development, and segment sales approaches.
- Responsible for developing key industry relationships within local markets. Key relationships include, but are not limited to, strategic builder alignment and independent HVAC-related Associations. Participation in related local events to support K-12, Universities, Local Schools, and other such segments.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Required. Four-year college degree or equivalent market experience.
- 5 years of HVAC industry sales and/or marketing experience preferred
- Overall knowledge of HVAC distribution and dealer sales, service, installation preferred
- Experience in the development and execution of distribution and marketing plans and programs.

Base Salary: Starts at $100K and up based on experience and will include an incentive plan.
