Wilder Systems designs, manufactures, and installs robotic systems for the aerospace industry that manufacture and maintain aircraft. WS is a startup backed by venture capital that primarily offers “Robots as a Service”. Our mission is to lead the way towards a “lights-out” future where aircraft manufacturing is primarily done by mobile, autonomous robots.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-oriented sales engineer to assist with the selling of complex robotic solutions. The Sales Engineer’s responsibilities include lead generation, tracking opportunities, and maintaining knowledge of the products to help close sales where technical expertise is required. To be a successful sales engineer, you should be committed to achieving sales goals and possess a technical knowledge of the company’s products and services while staying up to date on market and customer trends. Ideally, this person is promotable to a Sales Manager role within 6 months as we grow and build our team.

Responsibilities

  • Actively sourcing high-quality sales leads through cold calling and emailing
  • Preparing and developing technical presentations to explain our company's products or services to customers
  • Following up after initial contact, determining customer requirements, and securing sales
  • Discussing equipment needs and system requirements with customers and engineers
  • Researching, developing and modifying products to meet customers' technical requirements and needs
  • Soliciting and logging client feedback and evaluating the data to create new sales and marketing strategies to target customers
  • Setting and achieving sales goals and quotas

General Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering, marketing, business administration, or related field
  • Experience in sales and manufacturing fields
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service, and sales skills
  • The ability to relate technical information to non-technical customers
  • Excellent technical and problem-solving skills
  • Good leadership and team working skills
  • Experience with robotics and/or automation system components

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
