We are looking for a Sales Engineer to join our team! Given the nature of our team, product, and customer base a strong technical background is a must. The right person for this role is a self-starter with the ability to collaborate with team members and third parties.

This position is incredibly important as we are growing fast and working with some of the biggest names in tech by providing the next generation fuzzing platform. You will work together with your sales counterparts to promote Mayhem ForAllSecure’s flagship product and work to build technical relationships with prospects and customers. Responsibilities will include technical presentations, demonstrations, contributing technical content, being a thought leader and team player. Being a small team, we’re looking for individuals excited about helping us to define new processes and making a big impact!

What you will do:

• Run technical pre-sales and pilots:
• Consult with our commercial prospects and customers to help show them the value of our solution. Run customer pilots, presentations, and drive technical conversations.
• Evolve and iterate and improve our demonstration and pilot process.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor when customers have questions, concerns, or issues.
• Coordinate ForAllSecure resources including, operations staff, senior engineering, and software developers to ensure rapid issue resolutions, work tightly with customer success.
• Work tightly with our marketing team to contribute content via blogs, video presentations and case studies.
• Account management
• Develop technical trusted advisor relationships with prospects and customers.
• Work with customer success to drive adoption, engagement and growth.
• Drive upsells and expansion by suggesting improvements, minimize/prevent.
• Actively promote ForAllSecure services to existing and new contacts within key accounts to grow deployment.

You are someone who:

• Brings a 0-5 of years relevant work experience in engineering, DevOps, consulting or similar roles.
• Has built strong internal and external relationships, including with technical executives and champions throughout companies.
• Has a customer facing background in consulting, technical sales, support or similar roles.
• Is familiar with and has worked in the software security space.
• Is curious, enjoys solving technical problems and is a self-starter - when you hit an obstacle you research and investigate until you solve it.
• Can calmly juggle multiple tasks and priorities and keep all the relevant people and systems updated due to your exceptional organization skills.
• Works collaboratively and is a team-player - you’ll need to be able to work with other cross-functional teams as needed and keep everyone informed.
• Demonstrates strong consulting, negotiation and project management skills with proven consistent track records working as a reliable advisor to drive business value for customers.
• Is able to communicate complex ideas, concepts and technology and learning and supporting technical products while working with engineers/developers
• Has strong knowledge of Linux troubleshooting skills, experience with tools.
• Has experience with virtualization and hypervisors: VMware vSphere, MS HyperV, KVM.
• Is familiar with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Demonstrates advanced knowledge in scripting languages: Perl, Python, REST & SOAP APIs and knowledge in programming language: C/C++, Rust, Golang Java, JavaScript.
• Has experience with containers/orchestration: Docker, LXC, OpenStack, Terraform.
• Can travel to meet key clients as needed.
• Has a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field is a plus.
• Has experience working at a startup or similar environment (i.e., working in fast-paced, high growth environments) is a plus.
