About The Role:
The Sales Development Representative performs a high-volume of cold-call engagements, actively uses their discovery and listening skills to identify potential customers, generate net new opportunities which are passed to their region’s sales team and ensure the accuracy of SFDC data.
Primary Objectives:
- Prospect, qualify and develop leads into sales-ready opportunities
- Document all activities in our CRM system to ensure efficient lead management
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly new opportunity generation metrics
- Meet or exceed daily call and email metrics
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Prospect, qualify and develop leads into sales-ready opportunities
- Establish and build rapport with prospects via telephone, email, and social media channels
- Calling Prospects/Answering Prospect Calls
- Successfully manage and overcome sales objections to develop interest
- Emailing Prospects/Responding to Prospect Emails
- Transform all received leads into qualified sales opportunities
- Research target contacts and accounts
- Target company/contact research
- Document all activities in Salesforce and Salesloft to ensure efficient lead management
- Capture accurate and complete prospect information.
- Salesforce Activity Notes, Lead Stage change and Opportunity builds
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly new opportunity generation metrics
- Meet or exceed daily call and email metrics.
What We Are Looking For:
- Heavy outbound sales calls
- Excellent telephone and personal demeanor
- Must have strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to qualify account and contacts for right fit and uncover prospects potential need for our solutions
- Ability to overcome objections
- Goal oriented and self-starter
What will Make You Stand Out (if applicable):
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field of study a plus
- Minimum of one (1) year experience as a Sales Development (SDR) or Business Development Representative (BDR).
The Tech:
- Google Apps (Docs, Sheets, Slide, Mail, etc.)
- Working knowledge of CRMs (Salesforce preferred)

- Less than 5%
