Sales Development Representative (SDRs)

The Sales Development Representative is a key member of our high performance Growth and Sales Team focused on identifying potential customers who will benefit from our products and services. As our prospects' initial point of communication with our sales team, ideal SDRs will excel at researching leads, generating new relationships, conducting outbound campaigns, and setting our sales executives up for success. Ideal candidate is a quick learner, has strong communication skills, has the ability to present our offerings in a compelling way, and is passionate about making a difference in healthcare.


This position reports directly to the Senior Director Sales Operations.

What will you do?

Ideally, a candidate should have an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for sales—as well as being comfortable taking a proactive, hands-on approach to generating opportunities. Key responsibilities include:

  • Represent Signify's products and services to potential clients across the health care landscape – including providers and health plans
  • Identify prospect's needs and suggest appropriate products/services
  • Generate leads and build relationships by influencing and supporting Marketing lead generation efforts, nurturing warm prospects, and finding new potential sales targets
  • Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects, engaging sales executives for next steps
  • Build long-term relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities
  • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and sales executive
  • Attend conferences and other marketing events to tell the Signify story and generate leads for sales team
  • Utilize SalesForce CRM and other sales resources, cold calling, and email to generate new sales opportunities
  • Identify best practices to refine the company's lead generation efforts
  • Report out activities/results on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis

We are looking for someone with:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience preferred, especially in a customer-facing role
  • Excellent communications skills (verbal and written) and strong interpersonal skills
  • Proven creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills
  • Strong desire and ability to move up within a sales organization
  • Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced environment
