What do we need:

We are looking for a passionate and driven person to join our Sales & Customer Service team, focused on the sale of organic botanicals into a growing wellness industry. This person should be excellent at relationship building, very detail oriented and have exceptional written and verbal skills. This position is primarily office/home office based, with a limited travel requirement.


What’s special about this team:

The Trout Lake Farm Sales department is a close and hardworking team of 3, focused on the sale & delivery of raw materials to the organic medicinal herb industry. Our customers, whom you will come to identify as friends, use our botanicals in a variety of finished consumer products, including teas, extracts, capsules, and pet products, amongst other things. Our team also works heavily with cross functional partners in Quality, Planning, Farming, Operations and Finance in order to grow our market opportunities and deliver the highest quality botanicals to our customers, year after year. You will learn everything there is to know about this incredible industry through an organization that has played an integral role since the beginning!


What’s special about this role:

Our farm grows, harvests, and processes the very highest quality organic medicinal herbs which are distributed world wide to a growing Botanical industry. Your ability to work collaboratively will be valued in this role as you work broadly with many external clients around the world. You will act as a key point of contact for your assigned accounts, handling contracting, negotiation, scheduling, document management, delivery, etc. for a customer base with a wide assortment of individual needs and requirements. Internally, you will work with a close-knit team, across Washington State, to initiate and lead a variety of cross functional teams and projects, with a focus on supporting your accounts and organizational growth targets.


Required qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year experience (3 years preferred) within a Sales & Customer Service setting, preferably botanical / food industry.
  • Marketing experience ideal but not required
  • Demonstrated experience with Office Portfolio and ERP platforms
  • BA/BS preferred


Skills to be successful in the role:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience managing budgets, building timelines, and providing cost estimates desirable
  • Talent to collaborate with internal partners and external vendors to bring projects forward to completion
