Sales Associate Job at Haskell's Bait and Tackle
Haskell’s Bait and Tackle is hiring! If you have ever thought about working in the world of fishing, enjoy engaging with others, and have a good sense for teamwork, we would like to hear from you! We are looking for part time employees to fill opening and closing positions with full time positions that may follow.
In-house education will be provided with plenty of support in order for you to find confidence and success in your role at Haskell’s. Approximate hours for opening shifts are 6AM to 12PM and closing shifts are 10AM to 6PM. These hours may vary slightly and shifts are available 7 days per week.
Duties and Responsibilities -
- Salesmanship - You will be engaging with the public with a strong emphasis on customer service. You will receive the proper education and preparedness to educate customers in local fishing while assisting in locating and presenting all of the appropriate provisions that suits the customers needs.
- Use of POS system to process payments.
- Able to lift up to 30 pound boxes and navigate steps.
- Taking phone calls and keeping a daily record of messages.
- Participating in teamwork that supports each others daily efforts with cooperation and communication.
Compensation and Benefits -
- $15.00 - $17.00 / Hour
- Paid Training
- Paid Overtime
- Paid time off after the first year of employment
Basic Requirements -
- Eligible to work in the U.S.
- At least 21 years of age
- Resume required
