Why This Role is Valuable:
The Sales Analyst is a key business partner within the sales team, responsible for the collection and analysis of sales data. This includes the creation of standardized and customized reports that analyze everything from quantitative sales and market data, to future needs forecasts. The role also entails recommending changes to Account Managers on current sales and promotion mechanics based on market research and new trends; all designed to capitalize sales opportunities for the Kerrygold portfolio. The Sales Analyst will have extensive contact with the Sales, Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain teams, and will work with data from retailers, distributors, and brokers.

Key Areas of Responsibility Monitors and assesses market and sales data and provides information helping Account Managers formulate strategies Compile actionable qualitative information to develop customer centric category solutions Utilize syndicated data portals to mine and pull insights for retailer presentations Examine retailer assortment to determine voids and establish assortment priorities Review promotion effectiveness and report back to Sales Team with recommendations Monthly tracking of forecasting and risk accuracy, report back to Account Manager Support Sales planning processes and tools Manage projects to ensure timelines and deliverables are clearly communicated and completed Assemble and proof final presentations for accuracy, consistency, and visual appearance Stay abreast on consumer insights, category trends and product innovation Support other functional groups within the Sales Team on an as needed basis (e.g. Sales Enablement, Category Management)

Key requirements A minimum of 3 years of previous sales or analytical experience Possess a degree in Business, preference with a major in math, statistics, accounting or business analytics Prior experience with syndicated data - Nielsen/IRI
Prior experience of working with Costco IRI Data preferred Experience using a CRM system would be preferable Advanced in Microsoft Office suite Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail Strong organizational and planning skills, detail oriented, resilient, ability to multi-task, analytical and problem-solving, projection and forecasting abilities Must present and communicate in a professional manner Ability to work independently and contribute in a team environment
CPG experience is preferred
