Job Overview

Supporting the management team in analyzing data and creating reports. Helps to ensure inventory and expense account accuracy. Acts as a liaison between other departments.

Core Job Responsibilities:

• Gathers data and information; analyzes and interprets based upon established criteria; creates statements, summaries and/or reports accordingly
• Coordinates ongoing projects, monitors deadlines associated with each project, and reports the status as needed
• Performs leadership roles in an informal manner, and can make non-personnel decisions in absence of the departmental Supervisor or Manager
• Communicates with internal and external customers and provides necessary assistance and information
• Represents the Company or department in inter-company or third party meetings, discussions and inquiries
• Recommends changes to policies, systems or reports that may improve overall performance of the department
• Knows how to use and operate the equipment, software and/or tools required by the department to complete assigned tasks for management reporting and analysis: ARIES and BlueCube
• Mentors and develops new and existing personnel
• Assists supervisor as needed
• Signs off on Daily Sales Report variances over the processor limits in group leader absence
• Performs other projects and duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements:

Eligibility Requirements:

One year in current position and a satisfactory or higher performance review

Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree

If Degreed, preferred Major: Accounting

Work Experience Desired:

1 to 3 years Accounting experience, or equivalent.

Other Skills:

• Expertise with Word, Excel, and other MS Office suite applications
• Ability to create and modify Analysis for Excel files
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to research and resolve issues
• Good understanding of intra-department functions and operations
• Ability to multi-task, and adapt to an everchanging environment
• Ability to perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 40 pounds
