Under broad supervision, the Building Inspector (Manufactured Housing) conduct assessments, inspections and enforce adherence to laws and regulations governing health and safety.
Advises customers concerning regulations, inspection and investigation findings and encourages voluntary action to correct problems or issues citations for violations.
Assists in the reporting of environmental factors.
Inspects establishments to ensure that they conform to regulations.
Inspects facilities for safety and fire hazards.
Inspects public facilities, manufacturers and individual living for compliance with various state and federal laws.
Investigates incidents and complaints.
Serves as job expert or organization resource in assigned areas.
Performs other duties as assigned.
