Route Delivery Assistant Job at Dempsey Uniform and Linen Supply
The Route Delivery Assistant partners with Dempsey's Route Service Representatives (RSR) to deliver uniforms and linens to multiple customers per day - ranging from small family owned businesses to major corporate locations. The Route Assistant is responsible for assisting the RSR with the delivery and pick up of customers' rental products and providing our customers with a positive experience. This position is ideal for individuals who want to get their foot in the door to establish a career in Route Service.
This is a full time, non-driving, physical indoor/outdoor position. The Route Assistant should be able to consistently lift/carry/maneuver products weighing 50-75lbs+.
Qualifications
- Must be 21 Years of age with a valid driver's license
- Stable work history & strong work ethic
- Be physically fit and able to perform daily deliveries
- Be able to use handheld devices for delivery recordkeeping
- Have good communication and customer service skills.
- Route Assistants must adhere to Dempsey appearance policy: wear company issued uniform, no beards or goatees, no ear gauges or facial piercings.
