Job Title: Room Inspector
Department: Housekeeping
Work Hours: 40 hours maximum per work week need to be flexible
Reports To: Executive and/or Assistant Housekeeper and General Manager
Uniform: Name Badge, clean uniform
Benefits: Health, Life and Dental Insurance.
Vacation: One week after one year of employment, two weeks after two years of employment and three weeks after five years of employment
Responsibilities:
- Know how to clean guest room after guest departs. This includes and not limited to dusting, vacuuming, bed making and bathroom cleaning and stocking supplies.
- Report any maintenance issues using Empower app.
- Knowledgeable on Marriott Brand Standards.
- Check rooms cleaned by housekeeping staff for cleanliness.
- Report any inconsistencies to team members to correct.
- To keep team members accountable of rooms per minute goals.
- Assist in quarterly inventory
- Assist Executive Housekeeper with other daily duties. This includes and not limited to creating housekeeping boards, ordering inventory, and conducting stand-up.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 25lbs.
- Standing/walking for 8 hours.
Qualifications:
- Neat and clean appearance.
- Reliable, dependable, and honest.
- Ability to be flexible.
- Self motivated
