Opportunities are available in Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, Emergency Department (ED), ICU/Critical Care, and OR
Registered Nurse – Short Term Option - Ascension Southeast Michigan
This is a temporary position with full time (36 hrs/wk) hours for duration of assignment.
Temporary 6, 8, or 12-week assignments - renewal available up to 36 weeks.
12-hour shifts (every other weekend, rotational holidays).
At least 2 years of recent hospital experience for Med/Surg, Tele, ED, OR, ICU
5 Locations available:
Ascension St. John Hospital, located in Detroit (Day and Night shifts available)
Ascension Macomb Hospital, Warren Campus
Ascension Oakland Hospital, Madison Heights Campus
Ascension Providence Hospital, Southfield Campus
Ascension Providence Park Hospital, Novi Campus

What You Will Do:
Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of
the healthcare organization.

- Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
- Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
- Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
- Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. American Red Cross (ARC) CPR for Professional Rescuers card will be accepted upon hire but renewal must be a BLS Provider card from AHA. Required
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Required.
Education:
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.
Experience:
- 2 years of RN experience in your speciality
