ExcelCare at egg Harbor is seeking full time, part-time, and PRN RNs (Registered Nurses). The ideal candidates must be devoted and compassionate about their chosen career and have an active certification. We are looking for RNs (Registered Nurses) who are dependable, self-motivated, team player, and flexible. RNs (Registered Nurses) are the eyes and ears for our Residents and play a very important role. We will provide you with Gold Standard Orientation to ensure you are sucessful in your role.

Qualifications for an RNs (Registered Nurses) and LPNs

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree.
• RN license is required.
• ER, Acute or Sub-Acute experience preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that daily licensed nursing functions are carried out to ensure that quality of care and quality of life for each resident is delivered in compliance with Federal and state regulations, and the facility policies and procedures.
• Complete medication and treatment passes in a timely manner and in accordance with state and federal regulation and facility policy.
• Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
• Receives and verifies the accurate transcription of physicians’ orders and assures that they are implemented accurately and professionally.
• Monitor, record and report symptoms and changes in patients’ conditions.
• Monitor nursing staff to ensure that they are following established safety and infection control policies and procedures.
• Handle incidents/accidents that occur, assess the situation and document findings, interventions, and actions.
• Consult and coordinate with the medical care personnel to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patients’ care plans.
• Participates in facility surveys (inspections) made by authorized government agencies.
• Assist in admitting, transferring, and discharging residents.
• Make written and oral reports and recommendations to the DON as needed concerning the operations of the nursing department.
• Maintain the confidentiality of all resident care information.
