Job Summary:

• This position is responsible for the daily operations of the Patient Care Services Departments, working collaboratively with the Admitting Office and overall hospital functions on off-shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Interacts with nursing/patient Care Services staff and staff of other departments to facilitate patient care.
• Provides administrative and clinical support to the nursing staff primarily on off-shifts, weekends, and holidays in the absence of the Clinical Nursing Leadership.

Shift: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM
Hours: 40hrs Eves/Nights Nursing Supervisor, Off-Shifts and Weekends
Contract: 13 weeks
Pay Rate: $110/hr

Skills Required:

• Exemplary written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to deal effectively and courteously with a diverse group of people.
• Ability to quickly gain competency in various hospital software applications. Demonstrates effective leadership abilities and is comfortable working in stressful situations; able to work in a quickly changing environment.
• Advanced Clinical Skills.
• Demonstrates strong decision-making skills.

Experience Required:

• 3+ years Advanced Medical/Surgical-Nursing.
• Preferred: Critical Care nursing experience 3 years relevant healthcare experience required, including progressive leadership responsibilities

Education Required: Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.

Licensure Required: Current Massachusetts State RN License

Certifications Required: Current BLS and ACLS
