Located on 10 picturesque acres is Citizen’s Options Unlimited Shoreham Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) offering an opportunity for an RN Manager. Enjoy working in our expanding medical facility just minutes from world-famous beaches, over 60 wineries, organic farms, waterpark and more!

We are Citizens Options Unlimited, an affiliate agency of AHRC Nassau, which empowers people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to achieve their goals. You will:

• Provide on-site clinical support to LPN staff
• Assess patient medical problems and advise on appropriate action
• Perform on-going monitoring of the person’s medical care and records to ensure best possible health and compliance with ICF regulations
• Ensure that all ongoing health needs and provide medical advocacy
• Complete medical rounds with on-site physicians
• Medication and Treatment administration as needed
• On Call-Telephone Triage for when RN not on site on rotating basis, approx. once per month

We require:

• Valid NYS Registered Professional Nursing License
• One (1) year of supervisory experience preferred
• Valid and qualified NYS Driver's License and maintained throughout employment
• Experience with Intellectual Disabilities/Developmental Disabilities preferred

Physical Aspects may include but are not limited to lifting and transferring of an adult participant.
