Position Status RN: 2nd shift available!!

Our Nurse Qualification Requirements:

• A nursing degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse/LPN in the State of Rhode Island
• The ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
• The ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• The ability to deal tactfully and professionally with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government personnel and the general public.
• Patience, tact, a pleasant disposition and enthusiasm, as well as a willingness to manage difficult situations.
• Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long term care.
• Leadership and supervisory ability and willingness to work harmoniously with and supervise others.
• The ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies and procedures, etc. that are necessary for providing quality care.
• Willingness to seek out new methods and principals and be willing to incorporate them into existing nursing practices.
• The ability to relate information concerning the resident’s condition.

Qualifications Preferred:

Previous hospital or nursing home experience but will train the right candidate
