Main Duties:
Serves as the principal RF Engineer in support of partnership with government customer. Engineer will lead or collaborate efforts in the testing, analysis, design, and engineering of Vector Network Analyzers, RF Solid-state and Testing Amplifiers. Candidate must have a strong background or desire to work with Spectrum and Phase Noise Analyzers. Must have experience working on presenting status and technical alternatives for new or existing RF systems specially in Systems Engineering Technical Review Process.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics Engineering or related S.T.E.M. degree
- Must be an electrical/electronics engineer with RF experience
- Must have RF test and measurement experience
- Must have experience using a Vector Network Analyzer
- Must be capable of working independently, a self-starter, who needs minimal oversight
- Must be capable of reviewing technical documents and developing test requirements
- Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance and due to sensitive nature of position must be a U.S. Citizen
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with RF solid-state amplifiers, especially with testing RF amplifiers
- Experience with Spectrum Analyzers and Phase Noise Analyzers
- Desire experience with RF design, specifically with test interfaces, fixtures, switch matrices
- Desire experience with the Systems Engineering Technical Review process
- Knowledge and understanding of DoD operations as related to RF planning and design
- Solid skills with Microsoft 365: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams
