We have been organizing private meditation retreats for over 30 years and have a well-developed planning realization and completion system in place. Beginning in 2023 the retreats are being expanded and formalized into the Pursuit of Meditation program of the Agni Institute and require dedicated support staff. As a result we are looking for the services of a self-motivated go-getter virtual assistant or VA team who loves to organize and make arrangements for secluded meditation retreats.

The tasks our VA will carry out and complete include:

• Find potential venues that meet each group’s particular needs based on number of attendees, regional and seasonal requirements
• Contact retreat venue managers, vendors, consultants, contractors, travel agents, housing, catering, etc. to source all associated services
• Tracking pricing and availability for each
• Tracking availability for the participants
• Arranging either catering or in-house meals for attendees
• Handle To-Do lists and meet the given deadlines for tasks
• Update us regularly on your progress
• Use collaborative software such as Google Documents so we can see the progress being made

These retreats are for small to medium sized groups – anywhere from 3 to 20 or 30 people -- for anywhere from 2 to 14 days’ duration. They may occur multiple times a year. Possible venues include from small to large private houses all the way up to dedicated retreat centers. The venues are typically located within the continental US but could on some occasions include venues in Canada, Europe, Central America or even India.

This position is not full time. It will be on an as needed basis. The best applicants are freelancers who have multiple clients. We would become one of your clients.

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
