Retail Sales Associate for Luxury Retail Consignment Boutique

Founded in 2011, award-winning Newton Centre consignment boutique, Kiki D. Design & Consign, has established itself as the leader in the Metro West area for luxury resale fashion and both new and pre-loved exquisite jewelry. Owner Beth Kurson is known for her meticulous attention to detail and curates the shop with upscale high quality clothing, handbags, shoes and accessories from hundreds and hundreds of the best local consignors. She also creates her own beautiful pieces of sought after jewelry making the boutique truly one of a kind.

Kiki D. is recruiting a part time sales and marketing associate/intern for the Newton Centre, MA location (Saturday’s are required). The ideal candidate is sales and customer service oriented and will assist in meeting sales goals through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge.

Kiki D. is looking for a passionate Sales & Marketing associate to lead all customer facing touchpoints. Your main responsibility will be selling merchandise by providing exceptional customer service and product knowledge. You will be tasked with providing the best customer shopping experience from greeting, to selling, to new consignment intake.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Greet all customers and provide a positive shopping experience
• Meet and exceed customer expectations
• Educate self and client on merchandise, promotions, policy and services
• Acquire, cultivate and maintain relationships with our clients through product knowledge, personal engagement and luxury service
• Build relationships and inspire loyalty
• Complete sales transactions and answer consignment questions accurately and efficiently using computer-based consignment sales system
• Maintain regular store maintenance.
• Demonstrate expert fashion styling and provide guidance directly to customers
• Photograph inspiration outfits and new merchandise for social media
• Complete daily opening/closing checklists
• Maintain positive working relationships throughout the company
• Assist with various other store tasks as required

Requirements:

• Positive attitude, ability to speak and resonate with customers
• Detailed oriented, punctual and consistent attendance is required
• Outstanding communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
• Strong verbal communication. Must be able to speak to customers in a professional manner
• Industry Knowledge. When you engage with our customers that are used to personal service, you must demonstrate a passion for the pieces they invest in.
• Immaculate presentation.
