About This Job

The Retail Group Operations Specialist is primarily responsible for supporting the operational aspects of all the South/East Branches/Metro East in St. Louis Market. This will require working with all the personal bankers, the branch management team, group manager and regional retail banking manager.

Essential Functions

• Perform duties directly related to processing image items and submitting items for posting

• Coordinate shipment/retrieval of retained documentation

• Answer questions and educate bankers on how to complete Retail Check Fraud packets

• Review Retail Check Fraud packets
• Assist with future Retail Fraud Review tasks that may include:*Building Fraud cases and Submitting and tracking fraud preventionstories and incentive payments for Retail Bankers
• Review and approve or reject signature cards daily
• Assist with manually opened accounts funding
• Complete all account closures for Retail requested by the bank
• Assist with various Retail Operations project

• Order supplies for the department

• Provide support and assist branches with day-to-day questions

• Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

• Intermediate knowledge of the retail banking and bank operations industry

• Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities

• Inquisitive, agile and strong team player with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

• Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values

• Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

Education & Experience

• Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required

• 2+ years financial industry experience involving a wide range of retail and operations duties required

• 3+ years retail or operations experience within a commercial bank preferred

• Experience working in a team environment within a production setting required

• Fraud experience preferred
