The Rehab Department is currently seeking a caring and dynamic Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A), who is looking for an opportunity to have a direct, positive impact in the lives of our residents, to join our team at Carrington Place of Botetourt.

The Restorative Nursing Aide will be employed to provide Restorative Nursing services to residents utilizing the Therapy or Nursing Plan of Care and will report directly to the Director of Rehabilitation, under supervision of facility Registered Nurse

Job Duties include:

Perform Restorative Nursing Programs (RNP) as ordered by Therapy or Nursing Department

· Maintain all required restorative records

· Report any resident RNP problems to the DOR

· Keep restraints and splints in working order and notify the DOR of replacement needs

· Maintain restorative area in neat and orderly manner

· Attend any required training sessions/meetings.

· Other duties as deemed necessary by the DOR

QUALIFICATIONS

· Certified as a CNA

· Physically able to transfer and lift resident

· Ability to work with others

· Complete training session with Rehab to possess knowledge and execute programs in: Range of Motion (active/passive), Splint/Brace assistance, Bed mobility, Transfer, Gait training, Dressing/Grooming, Eating/Swallowing assistance, Amputation/Prosthetic care, Communication.
