We are hiring a PRN (as needed) Respiratory Therapist to be a part of our team of experienced professionals in a setting where you will perform routine and intensive cardiopulmonary care treatment and diagnostic testing in caring for neonatal through geriatric patients.
Job Summary
Responsibilities:
- Set up and maintain respiratory care equipment to provide a safe and clean care environment
- Perform routine therapy while demonstrating knowledge of current respiratory theory, principles of care and respiratory procedures
- Perform cardiac and pulmonary rehab intake, ITP development and daily care
- Perform stress testing, including treadmill and nuclear medicine
- Perform other duties as requested
- Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Consistently contribute to department operations and communications
- Behave in a manner consistent with the mission and objectives of GMHC
- Accountable for the knowlege, awareness and practices of the GMHC quality initiatives (CQI), behavioral standards and corporate compliance program
