Leffler Consulting is seeking an experienced Resource Analyst to join our team at the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) in Chantilly. The candidate will provide support in resource planning, analysis, and execution of development, acquisition, and operations programs for the Agency Program Office, Directorate, and staff components. Work will be performed on-site and requires an active TS/SCI security clearance with a CI poly.

Duties

• Establish and maintain financial management information
• Directly support Government staff to align the financial management approach with program objectives
• Ensure accurate financial reporting by researching, compiling, verifying, and summarizing program and financial information
• Review program requirements and spend plans for accuracy and completeness
• Evaluate program performance and recommend resource allocations
• Support development of the President’s budget submission
• Analyze trends and developments in planning, programming, budgeting, and execution processes to identify inconsistencies that could impact financial performance
• Develop working knowledge of financial policy, procedural guidance, and strategic issues to determine the financial impact
• Provide budgetary information for entry into government financial systems, and develop products using Microsoft applications
• Prepare and coordinate funding documents, to include managing funds transfers between agencies

Skill Set:

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Excel (pivot tables and macros)
• Demonstrated knowledge of Federal Appropriation Law, concepts, methods and standards impacting financial activities
• Knowledge of Federal Government budgetary principles and procedures

Required Education

• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline. Experience may be considered in place of a bachelor’s degree and determine the position qualification.

Required Experience

• A minimum of 6 years relevant experience
• IC, DoD or industry related experience preferred

Salary varies according to position level and experience ($80,000-$155,000)
