The team of nearly 500 professionals is growing and looking for a Residential Program Manager to ensure the highest quality of services to the people in their homes. All program participants will have a clean, safe and well decorated home in which to live while participating in an active, creative and supportive home environment. All staff will be trained and supervised to provide services that place the individuals needs and safety first.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Supervision and oversight of all regular program and relief staff
- Responsible for oversight of the residential program periodically scheduling administrative duties throughout all shifts.
- Coordinate coverage for the program. Maintains a pool of qualified relief staff. Orients and trains relief staff.
- Oversee the hiring, training and supervision of all program staff, including work-study and other student interns.
- Perform and oversee timely completion of all required Performance Appraisals
Clinical and Rehabilitation Skills
- Assess and teach daily living skills such as safety rules, travel training, banking and budget management, cooking, shopping, personal care and hygiene and care of personal space and belongings. Monitors effectiveness through data collection.
- Administer medication and train clients in self-medication procedures.
- Provide advocacy and case management services for the clients, which includes contact with families, day program/vocational placements, medical personnel and other service providers involved with the Team.
- Maintain a positive and professional relationship with the neighbors, community members, involved family members, colleagues and funding sources.
- Provide on-call coverage as scheduled.
Program Management and Operations
- Oversee staff scheduling and personally provides/models skilled shift coverage, including weekends and overnights, or as needed.
- Attend evening and weekend events.
- Assist peers when needed with medical appointments.
- Responsible for oversight of the residential program periodically scheduling administrative duties throughout all core hours at program is 3pm to 6pm and attendance will be monitored by Program Director.
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Potential candidates must have a valid MA or NH Driver's License.
- The ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain all required certifications.
- Candidates should have completed their Bachelor's Degree in Psychology or a related field; 3-5 years experience in the field will be considered in lieu of degree.
- CPR, First Aid, Prevent
- MAP certification (within first 6 months)
