Position Description
Advertised Job Summary
This position aims to support an NIH-funded project investigating the role of friends in the development of adolescents who have experienced abuse and neglect. The hired candidate will assist PI by providing hands-on support with participant recruitment and scheduling, data collection, communications, and the project’s overall implementation. Such support will also include developing protocols, managing and training volunteers in data collection and analysis, managing project resources, monitoring compliance with human health and safety protocols, and assisting with dissemination efforts—other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or related field (e.g., Child Psychology, Human Development). Knowledge of psychology/child development.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree or 2 years of research experience. Prior experience working with children/adolescents and/or populations who have experienced trauma/adversity. Research data collection/management experience.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Excellent oral and written communication skills, organizational skills.
