Repair Coordinator Job at DXP Enterprises
This position is located in our Shreveport, LA location
Repair Coordinator will be responsible for providing work scopes on repair projects.
This individual will be able to inspect all of the components of the pump, including dimensional inspection, hardness testing, TIR inspections etc. to create a scope of work.
Responsibilities of the Repair Coordinator include, but are not limited to:
- Coordinate part manufacture with in-house and subcontracted sources
- Ensure client and industry specification adherence
- Develop professional repair scopes of supply with inspection details and pictures that can be presented to the customer in the form of a quote.
- Communicate effectively and consistently with internal and external clients
- Coordinate repair projects
- Attend production meetings and provide status reports on managed repairs
- Works with Repair Engineer and Management to ensure projects are expedited as needed to meet customer demands.
Qualifications of the Repair Coordinator include, but are not limited to:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience repairing API centrifugal pumps
- Previous experience in an API pump facility highly desirable
- In-depth understanding of API 610, and other applicable standards
Additional Information:
Physical Demand: Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs
Shift Time/Overtime: 7:00am 3:30pm plus overtime
Working Conditions: Shop environment
