Requirements
  • Prepares rental contracts and ensures all proper documentation prior to renting the equipment.
  • Processes rental agreements, check-ins, checkouts, rental returns, and damages.
  • Collaborate with shop and yard personnel to prioritize equipment rental needs and required maintenance.
  • Manages physical inventory process at the store level and works closely with rental and sales teams to reconcile inventory discrepancies.
  • Make realistic commitments and communicate with customers and/or sales reps if deviations from the original commitment occur.
  • Ability to handle phone calls and walk in customers with rental needs.
  • Assist in arranging transportation for equipment deliveries and store transfers.
  • Remain knowledgeable and up to date on changes and developments regarding all equipment being rented.
  • Responsible for receiving new equipment and assisting in generating work orders to facilitate pre-delivery inspections.
  • Sweeping and cleaning which includes, helping with yard cleaning, yard organizing, cleaning wash bay when needed
  • At times preparing equipment which includes, Washing, greasing, checking fluid levels, checking for proper operation, filling out documentation on computer and paperwork, doing minor repairs.
  • At times loading and unloading equipment, including Proper instructions on basic operation, checking for damage on returns, documentation on condition, loading and unloading on trucks and trailers.
  • Ability to cross train and support inside sales team to ensure smooth operation of the sales process within the branch.
  • When supporting the sales team, verify paperwork for sales orders is correct and accurate before submission to asset management.
  • Assist in customer unit pick up and or delivery of rental and sold equipment.
  • Willingness to assist other locations within Colorado with coverage when needed.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements
  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate construction equipment.
  • Occasionally lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling 50-100 pounds and/or frequently lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling 20-50 pounds and/or continuous lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling 10-20 pounds
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, grasp or pull and lift objects. Occasionally required to sit, climb and balance, kneel, stoop, crouch, and crawl.
  • Consistently exposed to outside weather conditions, fumes, and loud noise.
