A big American company that works 100% remotely is looking to hire a Backend Team Lead.
Duties
- Design, coding, testing, and production release are part of the development life cycle.
- Create web applications that adhere to accessibility and TDD best - practice.
- To create amazing product experiences, collaborate closely with design and product.
- Deliver code in an agile team environment.
- Drive innovation through rapid prototyping and iterative development.
- A passion for technology and for developing robust, scalable, state-of-the-art software systems.
- Architect, Design, and Develop software for distributed systems with high performance, scalability, and availability requirements.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineers within the team.
- Lead code reviews to drive the team to the highest Node and Java web applications standards.
- Drive innovation through rapid prototyping and iterative development.
Requirements
- 5+ years of production JavaScript application design, development, and testing experience.
- 5+ years of experience with web application development, including Node.js applications on top of RESTful APIs.
- 5+ years of solid knowledge of popular JS frameworks and libraries, as well as knowledge of TypeScript
- 80% Hands-on experience and strong leadership skills in managing smaller teams effectively.
- Passionate about developing amazing user experiences.
- Strong desire to learn, experiment, and share knowledge with others
- Real-world experience with cross-browser, cross-platform, and design constraints on the web.
- Well-experienced in developing and executing automated unit, functional, and integration tests.
