9 Tower is a fast-paced unit that has various patients daily. Wound care nurses specialize in assessing and treating patients with complex wounds, ostomies, or continence conditions. They work closely with members of patient care teams to ensure that personalized treatment plans are followed correctly in order to prevent future infection or injury. As a unit, 9 Tower practices teamwork and the employees are always willing to support each other. There are many educational opportunities for staff on this unit. Responsibilities:What You’ll Do

The Registered Nurse (RN) of 9 Tower is responsible for delivery of patient care.
The successful candidate will be able to:

• Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes
• Evaluate patient’s progress toward attainment of outcomes
• Assist with the plan of care, evaluate, modify and coordinate care, and communicate well with other disciplines
• Maintain confidentiality with all information
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Qualifications:What You’ll Bring

• Valid RN Oklahoma license
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program - Associates degree minimum
• Must have a passion for excellence
• BLS - Basic Life Support
• Must demonstrate excellent English grammar and writing skills
• Professionalism displayed through sound judgement, initiative, and flexibility
• Good interpersonal, communication, teamwork, and customer service skills
• Strong organizational, problem-solving and follow-through skills
• Ability to multi-task constantly, react to changes quickly/productively, and tolerate interruptions
• Remain flexible, organized, professional
• Be able to analyze and make sound decisions under stressful situations
