Position: Perinatal Registered Nurse
Location: Bishop, California
Schedule: Night shift- 7pm to 7:30am
Duration: This is a full-time, permanent position!
Pay: $47.58 to $70.64 hourly, depending on experience. Experienced candidates may qualify for a $10k sign-on bonus and relocation assistance!

Responsibilities:

• Renders collaborative nursing care via the defined department Method of Practice, to a caseload of patients for an assigned shift in accordance to the medical staff practitioner’s treatment plan, nursing standards of care/practice and professional code of ethics.
• Candidates are committed to promoting the health potential of the patient (body-mind-spirit) through the implementation of the nursing process.
• Demonstrates ability to delegate appropriately and direct staff in the coordination and delivery of care; assumes responsibility for the appropriate utilization of care resources; demonstrates positive interpersonal relationships with others in problem resolution, is sensitive to the needs of patients, families, and fellow employees.
• Reports directly to the Perinatal Nurse Manager and indirectly to the House Supervisor.
• Delegates and directs assigned tasks to caseload team, which may include LVNs and a department clerk.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of School of Nursing
• Current California State License as a Registered Nurse required
• 1+ years of labor nursing experience required
• BLS within two month of hire and on-going
• NRP within 3 months of hire and on-going.
• STABLE required within 12 months of hire and on-going.
• Intermediate or Advanced Fetal monitoring certification required within 3 months of hire and ongoing.
• Gnosis annual assessment of EFM principles within 3 months of hire and on-going.
• BFHI (Baby-Friendly) Lactation Education requirement within 6 months of hire.
• Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with patients and families.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new software programs as applicable.
