We are a busy privately owned Endoscopy center located in Upper St. Clair, looking for a casual Registered Nurse to join our team.
The main job responsibilities entail:
-Working in our Pre and Post area of our ASC
-Admitting patients prior to their procedures
-Inserting & removing IV’s
-Critically monitoring patients after sedation
-Sending prescriptions & ordering further testing if required after a procedure
-Discharging patients
- Educating patients and family about gastrointestinal diagnoses
-Working closely with the physicians, CRNA’s and other staff members
This is a Monday thru Friday casual position that starts as early as 6am, with the shifts ranging from 8 to 10 hour days. No weekends or holidays. The ideal candidate must be a quick, detail oriented person, with excellent clinical and communication skills. Someone who is able to multi-task in a busy environment while working as a team player. IV skills are a must; ED, ICU or telemetry experience preferred but not required. Gastroenterology experience is a plus.
